  • Hot and Cold Interventions

Physiotherapy

Brady Physiotherapy’s clinic is a state of the art facility that is equipped with modalilities that will ensure our patients a faster recovery – a distinction that makes us unique from other physiotherapy clinics within the region.

This is seen by using Interferential Current (IFC); by employing a higher concentration of electrical current than the TENS device, IFC has been found to alleviate pain in patients who have not found relief through less intense therapeutic applications. IFC penetrates soft tissue more deeply than a regular TENS unit.

The patient benefits of using IFC are as follows;

  • Reduces painful symptoms
  • Decreases local swelling
  • Helps restore normal movements
  • Releases the body’s natural painkiller endorphins
  • Accelerates the healing process
Exercise Therapy

Exercise is usually a core component of most physiotherapy treatment plans. An exercise program may consist of stretching, strengthening and aerobic reconditioning. The exercises are progressed and customized to each individual’s condition and specific goals. Our clinic is well equipped with state of the art strengthening and cardiovascular gym equipment.

Education

All patients are provided education regarding their condition as well as important information and strategies to assist in self management and prevention of further injury.
